Curnutt Family History

 

Up until 2002, the last female Curnutt baby born was an aunt of mine in 1907, an older sister of Carl Curnutt. Then came Carl Curnutt, then Jim Curnutt, then me. I then had 3 sons and Jim had 2 sons, so there was a continuous line of boy births. Henry’s Eye’s

Henry’s portrait hung over the fireplace in my grandmother’s living room.

When I was little and staying at my grandmothers house, I slept on a sofa across the living room and a combination of Henry’s eyes looking at me, the smoldering fire in the fireplace and the creaking of the old house could make a kid dive under the cover!
