Windermere

Microfiche of the actual handwritten manifest for the Windermere in February, 1854. It shows Ann traveling with the John V. Long family; John V. a Minster, Eleanor his wife, and their 3 children (one of whom died on the way to New Orleans). Since Ann’s middle name was Long, we assume that this was a related family. Note also that Ann Didsbury was only 11 when she began this journey to

America.
