My Dear Wife,
I received a letter yesterday from Everett. And I felt so thankful to hear from him and Tricia to answer his letter, but it is utterly impossible for one to write, more than to acknowledge his letter which I did as soon as I received it. I think I have enough sons and daughters to write to me and let me hear of my home once in a while, without expecting an answer to each letter knowing it is difficult for me to write myself and can not always have strangers do so. I expect to be home about the 20th of Sept. Let me know of Henry, Arthur, Eddie and Levi. Take good care of yourself and don’t worry about me. I am getting along alright, only I am of course lonesome for home. Be sure and write often and let me know everything about home. With love to all I remain, Your affectionate husband. H. W. Brizzee
