William Everett Brizzee & Crete Gibson Brizzee Married, 7 June 1900, Phoenix, Arizona http://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/az/maricopa/marriages/grooms/b.txt
Genevieve Brizzee Emery gave me this photo in 1977, she told me a story about, Crete Gibson. Crete Gibson went to Hollywood to become a star, while there she was murdered, her finger’s were cut off, and thieves stole her rings. In 2005 my, Great Aunt Marti Brizzee Williams told me, she always heard that Crete committed suicide. I’d like to hear from anyone with knowledge about, Crete Gibson. After Crete Gibson, William Everett Brizzee married, Harriett Ellen Johnson

Genevieve Brizzee Emery told me, William Everett Brizzee was born in a covered wagon near, Prescott, Arizona in 1880 When, William Everett’s son, Ralph Edward Brizzee passed away 27 August 2005 this photo was given to his sister, Marti Brizzee Williams. My Great Aunt Marti Brizzee Williams made sure I got this photo for the website. She told me a story about this photo and the time line in which it was taken. William Everett Brizzee & Harriett Ellen Johnson Brizzee had 11 children, times were hard during the depression and William Everett had to go off and work in the government run, “CCC” camps. While, William was off working and alone he died, he was found slumped at the open door where he lived. It appeared he was cooking soup, sat at the door and died. He was buried in what was called at that time a, Potter’s Field, a place where people were buried in those years. My father, Donald Lynn Brizzee a few years ago bought his grandfather, William Everett Brizzee a headstone and he told me he wants to be buried next to him. 1880-1934 Burial: Yuba County, California |
